Greetings Media Person(s),

Thank you for your interest in the 2008 Jus` Blues Music Awards Show. This year's festivities include many happenings.  On the website you will find pertinent details about each event.   Below is information on our credentialing process as well as a media pre-registration form link.

Media credentials will be available to editorial staff employed by a trade publication, mainstream media outlet (newspaper, radio, television) or online outlets. Freelance writers and photographers must be on assignment with an outlet and have the editor of the particular publication submit on their behalf and state that said writer is on assignment for the outlet.

Each print outlet will be allowed to credential 2 writers and 1 photographer. Each radio outlet will be allowed to credential no more than 2 working staff. TV will be looked at on a case by case basis depending on coverage—live coverage, local news, etc.

In order to receive media credentials all requests need to be submitted via e-mail request to our address at jusbluesmusic@aol.com with MEDIA CREDENTIALS in the subject.  The deadline to submit for media credentials is Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Each e-mail request must include the following:

APPROVAL & PICK UP
We ask that you please be patient during this process as we are receiving an enormous amount of requests and will need to process each one separately. Media credentials will NOT be mailed out in advance. You will be able to pick up media passes at the event.

MEDIA CHECK-IN
We will have a media check-in on site that will be open at 12:00 pm on the day of the event. As we get closer to the event and you are approved for media credentials we will send out additional information on location, pick up times etc.

PHOTO/AUDIO/TV POLICY
All photographers, radio and TV must sign a release form at the event when picking up credentials. The audio policy is for interviews only, no live concert material and TV is 1st 30 seconds of the 1st song unless otherwise arranged. We will notify media registrants at check in of any further restrictions in this policy. All granted a media pass must agree to abide by Jus` Blues Music policies.

INTERVIEWS
We ask that you do your interviews in advance of the Jus` Blues Music Awards Show. If you need a contact for a particular artist let us know. We can provide photos and biographies on every artist appearing this year and can easily e-mail that information to you. We are currently working on specific interview times on-site for media in the venue with the honorees and performers. As those details and plans become more clear, we will send you more information and a confirmed schedule of artist interview opportunities.

The number of media credentials is limited and requests will be reviewed on a first come basis. Jus` Blues Music reserves the right to determine if a request is or is not eligible to receive media credentials.
